What a delightful vision of the life Laura can now have away from the glare of publicity, or at least the need to care about it, and the trappings of office.

As for the next incumbent, it is their turn to find out that they can be the darling of the media one minute and its biggest target the next, that perception too often wins out over truth and that sometimes what can be achieved is not worth the sacrifices being made to achieve them.

Great job. Thank you.

The media is such a vicious, fickle thing (I know...I work in it). The public is even more fickle, just more easily led.

Thank you kindly for this continuation!

Really. Unemployed presidents just go like...cut ribbons and occasionally go look at natural disasters. Live it up, girl.

I can't help it, I have such a soft spot for Bill and Laura getting uninterrupted time together, a real retirement. This was beautifully done.
