This story was born from nostalgia after seeing McDaniel's current run on Batman & Robin. Therefore I was trying to channel Dixon's Jason (what little of him there is) through the current story lines. I'm not sure how well I succeed at that, but I'm glad you liked the end product.

Dick is hopelessly himself. But I enjoy that.

When I started, I didn't intend to write anything a little heartbreaking. But with canon being filtered through Jason's psyche and then allowing him to act on his beliefs I should have expected it. Thank you.

Great story! So few people remember the brother blood story-line, so it was great to see it in your fic. I also really liked Jason's comment that Dick will "never play the brainwash card" - it seems very true of his character. Dick never does accept excuses for his behaviour, even if they are perfectly reasonable.
Anyway, thanks for an awesome story!
