It's been a while, livejournal. Things have greatly changed since I last wrote. I got a new job doing something related to my degree. I am actually making some real money. I have my own apartment (which I share with Phoebe, of course). My mom had a cancer scare, but she is in remission for now. I am thinking about starting my masters in Advertising ( Read more... )

Last week I bought a cat playset for Kora for Christmas. It comes with a little cat that meows when you squeeze it. It has a food bowl, a mouse and a ball. We decided to see what happens when we make it meow in front of Phoebe. At first she was curious and would go up to it and sniff it. I am bad at maintaining this journal. I have been really busy with my new position. Currently, I am coordinating a speaker series for the Family Research Initiative. I have my first speaker on November 15. I have to get his travel arrangements and itinerary figured out. I have come to the conclusion that there are no graphic design related jobs in Michigan and that I need to start looking out of state. I have applied to half a dozen places. Things a little better. My ipod was never recovered and I also could not find the serial number for it. I called Apple and they did not have it (or would not give it to me), my Best Buy receipt of the purchase did not have the serial number (as Apple claimed it would). We have moved into to new apartment...but we are far from being unpacked. We are still waiting on some furniture for the living room, so right now it is a storage room.
