Gardening and The Grand Canyon

After finding this deal I have been contemplating going to the Grand Canyon for a weekend in early January. The thing is I should probably plan this sort of thing sooner rather than later. Anybody want to carpool out there

Sunset magazine is excellent for knowing what grows when and what you should do when. Asparagus can be grown in winter.

I've seen things that basically look like overgrown tubs with a lid that you can compost in, and also something like a oil drum on a spit.

Those can be pretty big so that is why Id want to do it at the garden for sure. Im finding more stuff on it now but Ill have to see if they have rules about it :D
