One of my big goals for Post Road is to grow them into a bigger chorus. Ultimately, I want 80 - 100 singers, but I know that isn't going to happen overnight. Right now, we're hovering around 25, so my goal between now and May (contest) is 35 - 40. If we do well at contest, it'll make our job easier recruiting new singers

Cool. I've actually toyed with the idea of joining a chorus, although time commitment is an issue right now. I think Colonial Spirit is the closest to me (Post Road is a little haul for me). Of course, my voice is nowhere near what it was in high school/college.

It's nice to hear there are younger folks looking at Post Road, though. Other than the time issues right now, I'm also concerned with being significantly younger than anyone there. Part of the reason I'd do a chorus would be to meet other women in the area.

All this will probably go on hold until mazianni is done with school though (2011!). I don't feel like I can realistically commit to one night a week even until we stop having the moving class night. (This semester it's Wednesday night. Who knows what next semester brings.)
