So, I thought I might review my life since thanksgiving ( the last time I really posted anything) but no.  It's too long.  Christmas came.  I got presents.  Pot luck rocked.  New Years Rocked.  School started.
Corey and I have been doing this "healthy eating" thing.  Corey iniated the idea but I think support in these cases is necessary ( Read more... )

I have never taken one (you know me an boats) but Sam and I had toyed with the idea of taking a Cruise Vacation once so i researched it a lot. It greatly depends on the type you take. I mean, you have your Alaska cruise, you have the Virgin Islands, the bahamas, the atlantic coast, Cuncun/Mexico, and Hawaii. Personally, the Bahamas and Virgin Islands sounded the best to me. I had the cold and the Hawaii and Cancun/Mexico was too expensive. But, with the Caribbean Cruises, you get scuba diving (I know Corey would like that) and snorkeling. They have jet skis in the boat. You can swim with dolphins, ballroom/slow dance each night, play sports, karaoke, sunbathe, gamble, pretty much every vacation tied into one. Plus, most cruises have at least one port to stop at for near a day of shopping and land fun. The downside: drinks, alcoholic and carbonated, cost extra on the price and your meals are regulated. If you miss one, tough shit. Without having been on one, I can say do it or don't. They sound like fun and, if you have the money, I ( ... )

I went on a cruise to the Bahamas last spring. It was fun and I'd recommend it for a honeymoon. Pretty much they have a days worth of activities to do on the boat on the days your at sea. Plus depending on the boat there's usually a pool and casnio. The dinners were great and they were always followed by a show or comedian of some kind. Our crusie was only 4 days so I would recommend the full week at least because if felt rushed when we got off at the ports. I do recommend checking out the activities that the crusie offers at the ports. Swimming with the Dolphins was so worth it!
