Just felt my first earthquake...

Well it's official... after three years and five months in Los Angeles, I've finally experienced my first earthquake. Kinda freaky at first, and Emma was (is still) freaked out. Just a bit of shaking for maybe ten seconds, then it was over ( Read more... )

Congrats! ;)

Glad to know you're home and Emma's okay - I was about to call and see if you did make it in :)

Thanks! I meant to call you last night, but then I fell asleep :)

Emma's doing lovely - her typical "Now you're back and I"ll love you for a little bit!" routine. How'd everything go on your end? Did she behave? :)

Aw, glad you got some sleep.

She was bratty at the few first days and then surprisingly lovey. I mean, she played a bit and wove between my ankles when I was doing things. A couple times she even got in my lap to pretend like she hated being petted.

She does love to explore - OMG. There were bits of something that looked like orange jello spread across the floor at one point (I looked and have NO idea what that was), another time I left an empty food can to drain in the sink and found it in front of the door...etc,etc.

Thank you for the present, btw! It's on my fridge as a warning to all who enter :D

I totally didn't even feel it. XD My boss walked by all jaunty like and asked, "Did you feel the quake?" I had no idea.

This one lasted a good ten seconds, and I saw things shake a bit. It was kinda creepy - my heart started beating really fast!

Whoa, you didn't experience that 5+ one back around what, August/September? That one made my bedroom walls LEAN.

I felt the one last night, but it just rattled my desk a little. The girl behind me didn't even notice. ^^

I remember a pretty big one during Secret Millionaire. Everybody had to clear out of the building. Maybe you weren't there yet?

BTW What's the new job?

I missed that quake - I was in WVa visiting family. I remember thinking "Oh crap, now I'll get hit with a big one instead!" Thankfully this one was small.

The new job is actually season five of Kathy Griffin. Eric's the line producer, and I'm excited to work with him again.

I felt it slightly. I was in Pasadena sitting on a friend's floor eating dinner.
