Yeah, I watched about three episodes and I said, "Yeah, no thanks." It totally failed to enthuse me. For all the reasons listed above and then some. I also only watched it out of being a sci-fi geek and people comparing it to X-Files only to realize it's an insult to compare it to X-Files because it's so obviously a far lesser series. I felt that if I stuck with it, it would end up being another Lost: a relationship that was fun an exciting and fresh in the beginning only to deteriorate as soon as you realized your lover was slowly growing more and more dangerously insane. J.J. Abrams, dude, I respect your ballsy attitude toward TV production, but I'm not following you into dark places anymore.

I watched the first four or five episodes of that show, and then let it fall off. I started to feel guilty that I hadn't caught up (and that maybe it would "get better"), but the thought of actually sitting down to watch them again felt like torture. So, I've given up. I'm all for giving show's a chance and this seemed so promising at first, but it just didn't strike a cord with me.
