I finally had a chance to watch House this week after not watching it most of this season. I had NO idea what was going on, but it was interesting. I caught Southland once. NEVER AGAIN. There was a BABY in the STREET. Ugh. I get enough nightmares about stuff like that springing from my own fertile imagination. I need no help from tv. Ok so I kinda heart Southland, but I would totally NOT love it if I lived in LA. I agree that it was weird that the two cops who at first seemed like they were the leads were totally MIA for last week's episode. I'm interested in it because the show was created and written by a woman and I think it's fascinating to see how a woman handles this traditionally male-dominated genre of television. Also, we've been led to believe that Ben McKenzie's partner bats for the other team and if that's the case, then his character would be groundbreaking and revolutionary since, at least to my knowledge, it would be without precedent in mainstream television.
