congrats :D the floor plan looks good, miss garden tub and separate shower!

We're having them build it with the handicap options so the door ways will be wider and there will be a rail so even if my knees/hips get worse I can still use said garden tub :)

Also I was thinking of you today when we were picking out the options. We made certain to get a solid door rather than one of the glass ones.

yeah, I bought a glass and screen door that I am going to get installed outside the new solid door...that way letting in light and burglars is optional. Honestly lights or an alarm or a shotgun would have done zero good because I was not home.

You might also look into door devils that the cop recommended, they are reinforcement dealies for the frame with screws that go into the studs, and they disperse the force of a kick.
