I played bridge yesterday and we did pretty well. I have played a few times with D. a new player because his wife has gotten certified as a director and either does not play, or plays with a person without a partner. They are both doing extremely well with their game and are both exceptional people and I enjoy playing with him. They are an asset

Good idea to get your porch painted while you are away. Nothing like work people getting underfoot!

I'm glad you've found other bridge players with whom you are compatible. If your trip is next week, we'll be much nearer each other than usual. I will be in Durham, NC for 6 days attending a wedding. I'm staying with a Live Journal friend of 15 years, though we've never met in person.

I leave Sunday the first for 5 days. Honey is going to the doggie resort. My friend paid for her to stay there, I did not ask her to, very generous. She loves Honey, but she feels unsure of her footing, so is afraid to have Honey there. Pretty silly imho since Honey would never get in her way, but best for Honey due to the heat and I would not leave her in the car even running at a rest area.

Have a good time at the wedding. I have met a few friends from lj over the years and am still friends with them. We met our cpa thru lj and he has been friend and our CPA up until last year when I did not need his services. He lives in Michigan, Ypsilante (sp?)
