Excellent! You've got some wonderful plot threads going here! And the monosyllable thing, gosh, takes me back to my high school days (which budding romances often do, well into one's twenties, thirties, forties...)
Did I mention I love that in this reality, Remus is a librarian (like me?)

I've always sort of wanted to write him as a librarian and started another AU in which he was one and have thus combined them to save me on brain space :) More library stuff to come since I'm a dork like that, heh.

Of course thank you so much for the lovely review. I've been lucky enough to not be infected by the monosyllabic monster (I instead have the babbling monster like Sirius gets sometimes, heh). Oh poor Remus.

Re: romance, I traditionally had either the total silence or monosyllables, occasionally varied with the babbling monster. Now I'm married and don't have to worry (though I still babble, my poor husband!)
