on the latest part of Collide or why I am Evil. . .

*hugs* Everyone is different. And I was wondering about '65, but I may have been at work at the time and not had time to really think about it. Because let's face it, without canon, I'm arse at dates too. :p

And I like evil authors. But let's face it, I'm an evil enabler, so it works. :p

For what it's worth, I don't see anything to apologize for. First off, you're the author, and you've gotta go where the muse leads. Second, you can't have a story without conflict. You're just getting all of us -- including yourself -- emotionally involved, which is always a good thing!

Thanks for the peek into your writing process. I always find that intriguing.

I very much appreciate this window you're giving us into your writer's mind! I can only imagine how you feel about putting Remus through something so awful. I find I write better when I feel what my characters are feeling (which is great fun with sex scenes but has been rough when I've been inspired to write something that made one of my characters miserable--and I'm going to break two of my original characters' hearts soon so I'll know what you just went through.)

I think writing AU fanfiction must be the roughest--you have the worst of both worlds, keeping character/timeline consistency with canon wherever you haven't changed things, and flying on your own where you are changing them.

Thank you for your appreciation of my proofreading! I'm glad to be able to help you a little bit with this incredible story.

I think your noncanon characters are great, btw!
