I know that I complain a lot about work, so I thought I'd talk about something good that happened today.
Today was a Halloween party/parade for the client I work with. He was an absolute angel! He did well with his token system, asked for breaks when he needed them, listened to me, waited, and didn't get too grabby with the other kids' costumes. He dressed up as a koala bear named Tollee from some cartoon. He had an old pair of slippers that went over his shoes. They kept falling off, but that turned out to be a good thing since he couldn't run away. He also had a bear that he held all day. Right before he went home, the class was doing one of those songs where you have to pretend to swim, run, etc. He kept making the bear do all the movements...adorable! And then there were several little princesses who had to hold up their skirts when they were walking up the stairs.
A classmate of my client had the BEST costume ever, I think. She's this tiny four-year-old. Asian. Cute as a button. She had her hair pulled into a bun and sparkly purple face paint around her eyes. She had on a little purple fairy dress, but the best part was the wings. They were purple, had a longer span than her arms, almost taller than she was, and there were tiny purple lights all around the edges.
And since twitpic is being fail, you get to see me as Little Red here.
