So we made it to DC. Leaving Florida was crazy. The last few weeks with all the good byes and packing were physically and emotionally exhausting, but I felt a huge sense of relief when we got in my sister's car to go to the airport. I'm going to miss so many people and things about our life there, but this is going to be great too and I'm 100 %

So glad you made it and are getting all settled! I didn't realize you'd only be there a year either. Will you head somewhere new then or have the option to stay? We have plantation shutters so I'm no help with the shades. Your house is cute!
