As long as I'm here...

I might as well make a real post.

Here's a quick run-down of all that's been going on:

I knew there was something I was forgetting to do....

Are your footsies recovered from your Grand Adventure (Italian version)?

They are, just about. It took a week to recover though.

I'm getting old.

Careful, there -- you're 10 years younger than I am.

Besides, you're not getting old. You're merely... working the bugs out of fashionista footwear.

Mine were older before they got their licenses, and I think they were much more stable because of it.

And as to their being angry, ehh, they get over it. Mine are a joy now that they're all in their twenties.

Eldest is not a typical first-born; she'd really rather have her younger sister go first on nearly everything. Middle, on the other hand, is 13 going on 40.

I'm hoping we all survive to their 20s... ;D

It must be nice to have musician daughters.

It is -- though I'm very grateful they didn't start on any brass instruments (trombone, trumpet, etc.). The first few weeks of playing those instruments are, as I understand it, ear-splittingly painful.

Your posts are never boring. :)

Sounds as though life is rolling along as it should; not too bumpy, not too smooth. Kinda like good mashed potatoes. (Yes, I do like lumps in my 'taters, though I'm sure yours never have any.)

Must be frustrating for YD to have to learn to play with a new mouth, but good for her for sticking with it. It would seem as though things are going well for all of them, even if two of them are mad at you for the time being. It will pass, I'm sure, as neither you or LM strike me as being unreasonable trolls about things. They will surely see the wisdom of your decision though it make take 20 or 40 years.

O, that delightful position of Hated Parent. Never lasts thankfully! ♥

It's good to hear from you - amazed you have time to type with all that going on! ~hugs~
