Did a lot of running around this weekend -- picked up more storage canisters. These things are addictive so convenient! I've transferred pretty much all of our open dry goods into these containers (complete with labels. Yes, I'm anal-retentive; why do you ask?) and I LOVE how much easier it is to find and stack stuff in the pantry ( Read more... )

I went through a horrible period when I had FOUR friends and neighbors who sold Tupperware. I had so many of various sizes that wouldn't quite clean, or the lids were a wee bit off, but they wouldn't die so I could toss them out. I'll leave it to your imagination.

Finally, I moved and threw them all out. Now, I'd like some in discreet quantities.

Yeah, I went through my Tupperware phase too, complete with scratched-up, food-stained containers with mis-matched lids that didn't quite work but worked too well to trash. I like Rubbermaid's new stain-resistant stuff for leftovers; the canisters I bought? ♥ for storing stuff like flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, chocolate chips, nuts, tea bags, rice, pasta, popcorn...

Er, you get the idea.
