Introductions
Hi, everyone :) My name is Katrin, I'm 20 years old, I live in Ukraine. I never wrote anything in my journal but now I have a story to share, so I decided it was finally time :) I'm crazy about Queer as Folk, and I also love The X Files and Harry Potter universe.
I started watching QAF by accident - just needed some kind of background for when I'm writing stories, so I searched the Internet and came across this show. I heard it being mentioned a lot for many years - I remembered it because at that time I couldn't translate the words 'queer' and 'folk', and it annoyed me. So I started watching and writing, but by the sixth eposide I have already forgotten about my stories and was devouring episode after episode greedily. My obsession hasn't stopped ever since.
I don't mind the ending of 513 - I absolutely believe that Brian and Justin will stay together. I don't like NY arc because it's illogical (as if there is any chance Justin can just come without education and collection of paintings and win over a city like that!), but as for B/J relationship - it's never been stornger in my eyes.
I'm incredibly grateful for all wonderful, talented and supporting people in this fandom - you guys are brilliant. And I'm grateful for places like Midnight Whispers and Get in here -I don't know what I'd do without them.
I plan to publish an original book soon - my biggest hope is to write at least two books per year. I hate my country and the government - we're famous for fascism, homophobia and laws disregard, and my dream is to leave Ukraine and move somewhere.
I don't think I'll be posting entries a lot, but maybe from time to time, when I have what to say :)
