I'm not sure what post-bacc equates to but I can sympathize with the whole "limbo" thing. I'm graduating a week from Saturday (May 6) and have a temp job for the summer... and I've only heard back from FIT about Grad programs. University of Maryland and New Mexico State have been thinking for over a month now...
As for the whole alcohol thing, I don't know either. Personally, a drink here or there is fine in my book (though, I avoid it 'cause I do enough silly things without having impaired judgement) but being out of control is never good. Anyways, I should be sleeping... I assure you, you have my happy thoughts.
Haha, I know what you mean about doing enough silly things. The only time I go out drinking is with coworkers after work, and thankfully that's late enough to make me rethink any drinks that I want. That one fateful night that I had to be drunk-sat I had only had 2, count 'em, 2 rum & cokes. Super lightweight, I think I am. Sorry you haven't heard anything from UMd or UNM. When I tell my schools to hurry up and make a decision, I'll pass the brain waves their way too. But at least you have some sort of job coming out of school. I had to wait a little over 2 months until I had one, which I guess is better than some of my other friends that graduated with me. Good luck hun, keep me posted!!
