The rocks tried to stop the waves from coming in, but the tide was too strong. The waves seemed to fuse together, pile their strength, and hammer against the rocks on which I sat on. I'm trying very hard to see the message behind that paragraph, but I think I'm reading too hard into it. I'm not sure what it's supposed to mean but, I have to admit, I'm a little worried. *Confused*
