I have finally hit the point of being so tired I can't sleep. It's happened a few other times in life -- long stake outs, the first time Peter went missing, the first few nights after I ran away from my family -- but never for this long and never with no end in sight. No, probably not, alas. She so, so hopes... And thank you! It helped I was sitting in a cafe` at dark'o'clock of the morning, looking out onto the NYC streets and utterly sleep deprived. Talk about method writing! But thank you so much. I'm pretty proud of it.

That was beautiful. The whole thing was good, but that line in particular just nailed the whole thing.

*blushes* Thank you. High praise from you indeed. It feels so, so good to write Kate again and to be back in her head space full swing, but I suspect you know that with Lexie also.

Oh, what a web... I also wrote that several hours before game and the mess that was game. It's interesting to look back on it now. Interesting and so, so bittersweet.
