I may have a problem

My mom asked me to run some errands for her.  I told her sure, and that I'd leave now before chatting started with you guys.  Then I said it was kind of neat how we're all in different time zones, etc.  She asked if I actually knew all of you or if I just knew you online.  I hesitated, since it's true that I haven't met any of you in person yet.  ( Read more... )

Maybe a bit wrong, since you're her daughter...

But I can hope for you, since I don't know her! So, here is me hoping she doesn't finish until spring.

You're mom sounds a lot like mine. That's why I'm not planning on telling my mom where I'm going...she'd freak.

I'll cross my fingers for you!

If everything goes alright, I'm not planning to tell them that I'm going to daydcon. Two of my college roomies live in DC, so it woun't really be a lie when I tell her I'm going to visit friends.

My father was the same about a friend who lives in Michigan - she had to come here before I'm even able to go there *rolls eyes* I don't even know what I'm going to tell him about the DAYDcon.

That's awesome that your mom's finishing up but uh...I'm rooting for you. ;)

It's not that I don't want her to finish (she's worked ridiculously hard), I just want to go to daydcon!
