Living rent-free in your head

I go to therapy twice a month.  I sit on a couch and I ramble about all the insane things that bounce threw my head.

My therapist thinks I'm handling things well.  My family had a meltdown and while I still had the immediate adrenaline flush, nausea and jittery feelings, I also turned on my guided meditation and laid down and found my peace again ( Read more... )

*nods* agreed. sometimes I put myself out there, out of my comfort zone, to normalise something that I think someone else should do. even though it's totally their choice etc etc.

Having you talk about your issues and treatment helps remove the stigma around mental health and takes a lot of bravery. I'm glad things are getting better for you. I hope your sister finds a better path. It must be frightening.
