Taking a long nap, then reassessing the sick. Still hoping to turn in tomorrow, but it'll depend on tonight's productivity what with the fever and all.

Consultation with Schwern suggests that cake was actually meant for Tree. (But he did offer to bring me chicken soup tonight.)

I don't know exactly where you are, but here is a little parable about the state my thesis was in when I turned it in...
I had a little problem with my thumb drive, Ubuntu, pocket lint, or some combination thereof, and I had the goddamndest time getting my final edits saved, including the Real, Final Conclusion, argument tweaks in every chapter, and corrections to any number of typos and "(cite this)"es. I thought I had it sorted out by the time I printed, only to discover looking at the drafts my orals board had that they had some older version. I got an A- on my thesis anyway.

So take heart that if all you can manage to do between now and Friday is haul your ass to the print shop and then crawl into the Eliot elevator, it will be OK, because any changes you make to your thesis at this point are relatively minor compared to your, and you have another two weeks to sort out all the other corrections before you get it entombed in the Tower.

ps still leaving typos and unfinished sentences everywhere... alas. that second to last clause was supposed to be 'your body of work'
