Hello,
Are you planning book 4 in the Playmakers series, I ask because the third book seems to have ended with some loose ends with regards to Sean and Erica. By the way I'm with Johnny, Erica sounds like a proper head case. If her husband was so horrible, why didn't she divorce. That woman's story as she tells it doesn't add up.
Anyhoos great books, Bam is the funniest and most unique character I have ever read in this genre.

I'm so glad you like the books. And especially that you like Bam. He's one of my favorites too. So much fun to write.
I agree with Johnny too. I grew fond of Kerrie, but he's right: Sean needs to back away from her. My plan is that the next book will be about the Surgeon, with minor roles for Bam and Sean where we see Sean's relationship unraveling. After that, the next full-sized novel will be Sean finding "the one." I'm so crazy about Sean it's not funny, so it's important for me to (1) torture him and then (2) makes sure he's happily ever after.
Thanks so much for the comment! And for reading the stories. Kate
p.s. I say "full-sized novel" because I might do another novella on a side romance that grows out of the Surgeon story. But I'm so anxious to get to Sean's story, I might just table that one indefinitely.

There will definitely be a book #4, and luckily more than that. You're right, Sean's love story has yet to be told! And actually, book #4 will be for Wyatt Bourne, aka the Surgeon. Then Sean gets book #5.
You must be psychic! You knew the new coach would get a book too, probably #6.
Thanks so much for the comment. My guess is since you liked PLAY DATE the best of the first three, you'll love Sean's book best of the next three. I'm with you. PLAY DATE was the most fun to write so far, but I know enough about Sean's future to suspect it will be my all time favorite.
I really enjoyed this one and I am so relieved to know you are going to tell the other stories. I am very excited for Wyatt and Sean to be released. Pleae type fast!
I will definitely type fast! Thanks for the note. I try to do something different in each book, so Wyatt's is a little more serious than PLAY DATE. But Bam will show up in a couple of scenes for comic relief (I need that too!). And for an epilogue? Sophie's and Jake's wedding on the beach. So I have a lot of incentive to get to the end quickly.
Thanks again for letting me know you liked PLAY DATE!

I read the whole series and I like the relationship between the brothers a.k.a the Triple Threat, needless to say Vince Bam BannerMan is my favorite of all. Although Sean is adorable, I feel like strangling him in this book because of for lack of a better word: his obsession with Erica and Kerrie and the way he treated Rachel. I also feel like there are some loose ends besides the obvious (Sean and Kerrie) about Melody who tricked Vince by giving a fake name. I am still questioning is it really Melody who has met Vince in Playing for Keeps because obviously Kerrie has a habit of changing her appearance like Melody sometimes. Although Rachel was such a good friend to Kerrie I always felt Kerrie is so needy and playing Sean intentionally or unintentionally for getting back at here husband for cheating on her

Thanks for the comment! It cracked me up to see how much thought you've put into the Kerrie/Melody thing. I thought I was the only one who found that intriguing

Sean will definitely have his own book. In fact it's already half-written! So I'm guessing it could be out early next year. In the meantime, the Surgeon's book will be released this month, probably around the 24th of August. If you like Sean, you'll like that book because he's in a few good scenes as he continues to struggle with finding true love. And Bam's in a few scenes too. Most of the characters are around in fact since there's another wedding.
Anyway, I hope you like Wyatt Bourne's book, since it's up before Sean's. I was concerned he (the Surgeon) might be too arrogant, but I ended up falling crazy in love with him anyway.
Thanks for asking about Sean! And for reading the stories. Kate
