Well, I had great intentions signing up for Myshuno, but the distractions of real life proved to be too strong. I can't say that is a bad thing though, as I actually just returned from a month long holiday in the United States

I share your feelings towards tumblr. Doesn't quite seem suited for actual stories as opposed to the picspam that sadly passes for many "legacies" now. Anyway, hope to see some updates from you once you're settled back in.
I hope you a had a great vacation, I think you did because Americans are so adorable from my experience (then again, that may be because my own country has become so uncivilised that people seem nicer and life easier pretty much everywhere else :D).
Can you believe how deserted our LJ world is these days? I can't! I can actually scroll my f-list waaaay back to august. August! Used to be, you couldn't read more than a week old posts there. I like tumblr but, like you said, the feeling of belonging to a group is gone, sadly. Talk about a post-apocalyptic vibe around here! It actually made me look at this: http://apocalypsechallenge.kaleiope.com/FreeTime%20Apocalypse.html :D
Anyway, not sure "what's been happening" because I haven't been simming since last summer (here or on tumblr) but it's good to see that not everyone is gone :) See, we're still a family, gathering here in time for Christmas and/or whatever other end of year
I did, it was wonderful, and I found American very welcoming and friendly :) And ha, I never thought I'd hear France being referred to as uncivilised!
It saddens me how deserted LJ is, I've found it has made me less enthused about my sims endeavors :( I like your lateral thinking, the apocalypse challenge is on my list of 'one day' challenges.
Even if it did take me over two weeks to respond, I'm sort of still here. And it is nice that like a family we come back for the holidays, I miss you when I don't see you :D
Welcome back from the States! :) I've been on hiatus, too, and I look forward to reading everyone's updates. To be honest, I'm kind-of glad there hasn't been much activity, lately -- I may actually get caught up! :D
