Wow, it sounds like you've had a very eventful weekend! I hope the drama stays to a minimum. And I find it adorable that you're from England. I would love to go there someday.

You seem like a very creative person, and a good cook too, I'm sure ;) I know how to crochet, but I've been meaning to learn how to knit for years now, and still haven't yet.

If you can crochet, knitting is rather easy. There are some wonderful tutorials on youtube for new knitters.

I shan't deny that I love England It really is as quaint (in someparts) as Period Dramas would have you believe.

Thanks for telling me about the tutorials, I would love to learn to knit a scarf for my fiance.

And now I want to visit England even more! New York isn't quaint, at all. Although I live on an island here, and it does have some beautiful nature.
