Is that really done with just chalk? that's totally blowing my mind. It looks sculpted out...I can't figure it out...

Yeah it's chalk...and I think he used handmade pastel paint also. He uses the contrast of bright and dark colors to make it have depth. I did a picture a long time ago in art class with black and white chalk that made it pop out at you...granted it wasn't anything like Kurt Wenner's work.

the picture makes you want to touch it so that you are sure it's flat. Now that is good.
