Sorry for the long absence but my focus has shifted from Toby and Chris (whom I still love, of course) to QaF and Brian/Justin. I've just become batshit crazy obsessed with this pairing lately. I was going to update my LJ with a more BJ inspired theme but it seems the QaF fandom is more about Tumblr than LJ

I was in the QaF fandom for many many (many) years here on LJ, and I'm surprised to hear you say that it doesn't seem to exist here anymore. Granted, I'm not involved anymore, but a lot of my flist still is and the comms still seem to be active. Weird.

Anyway. B/J are total love. Enjoy!

I realized you were part of the fandom after I found a bunch of oyur fics. God, you write amazingly for every fandom, don't you? I already found a bunch that I love. I'm currently going through the list of drabbles you did... something like 100 of them... for a challenge. You really are one of my favorite writers in just about any fandom.

I honestly haven't found many LJ's for BJ specifically. It's mostly qaf/show specific... not that I mind that because I love the show in general. But i'm all about the artsy stuff and so far i've found tumblr to have tons of graphics challenges and such. I'm still new to the online stuff for this fandom, so I may have just missed them. If you know of any good one, I'm all ears! I'm particularly looking for good journals for fanfic recs and graphics. I've found a few older fanfic journals, and there's a major site called Queer Eyes that i'm sure you're familiar with that has lots of recs.

I'm glad you like the graphics. Your opinion always means a lot. ; )

Awwww, thanks. I was pretty prolific for quite a few years, so... yeah... according to A03 there's about 250+ QaF stories in my back-catalogue, heeee

aww that was sweet. you don't really see many upbeat, happy vids in this fandom. they're more introspective. that was cute.

fanvids...don't even get me started. I love so many of them. that was actually where i started in this fandom.

My absolute favorite BJ fanvid is this one:

i mean, seriously, this is the best music vid of any fandom i think i've ever seen. it makes me not want to make any of my own as they'll surely suck in comparison. it just... i actually got a little teary, and i'm not the type of person who gets emotional at fanvids

I feel the same way about Sam/Dean (see icon), who unlike B/K and B/J aren't really a couple, except in slash fiction, but I can live with that. Love your new B/J graphics btw.

One thing I've found in the QaF fandom is that there are a ton of Supernatural fans as well. I've never seen the show but, boy, is the fanart awesome! the main pariings I've found seem to be Sam and Dean (aren't they brothers? hehehehee reminds me of Weasley-cest), and Castiel and Sam (I think). I keep finding these graphics on my friend's tumblrs.

Yeppers, brothers aka wincest :D. The fanart I've seen are spectacular--they look so real. You'll have to see the series at some point. Great chemistry those boys have. I might hafta join some QAF comms. :)
