Nate entered the kitchen feeling immensly bored. He'd just worked ten straight hours and was very glad to be home, where his loving boyfriend should be. Only, he's nowhere in sight. Nate makes himself a ham sandwich and heads into the living room. He turns on some stupid reality show as he kicks of his shoes and settles in to wait for Alex. He removes his shirt, because their air conditioner is broken and Alex has yet to fix it, and lies back on the couch.

The front door opens. It shuts. Alex announces his entrance with a, "Turn some music on, will ya?" Nate smiles in amusement but does not move. He is not Alex's slave and Alex knows that. Alex just hates a quiet house and Nate, sort of, loves to tease him about by keeping the volume very low on the television.

"Hey," Nate smiles up at Alex as he approaches the back of the couch.

He grins and sets to mocking, "How was work, honey?"

Nate shrugs, "This really hot girl and I went in the boss' office for a while but, you know, we just ate animal crackers and listened to love songs." Alex laughed, actually laughed, and flipped himself over the couch, landing directly onto Nate's lap.

"I missed you," he was being genuine now.

"Good," Nate sat up to press his lips to Alex's momentarily. "Missed you too, babe," He sighs, falling back onto the couch.

"Dinner?"

"Had a sandwich."

"What about me?"

Nate scoffs jokingly, "What about you?" Alex playfully shoves the shorter boy and gets up to make his own sandwich. He returns a few moments later, bag of animal crackers in hand.

"Look what I found," he smirks.

"Hmm, what do you plan to with those?" Nate winks jocularly. Alex shrugs, seemingly, innocently. Alex stepped around the couch this time and fell to his knees beside the couch.

"Stay still, okay?" he asked. Nate nodded, his brow creasing curiously. Alex, then, dumped the half full bag of animal crackers onto Nate's bare stomach. Nate laughed. A sudden chortle that escaped his lips the moment the crackers hit him because, well, it was just funny. Alex began to sift through the crackers and pulled a select ones out.

"Are those the elite crackers?" Nate was trying hard not to grin. Alex smiled but didn't say anything as he scooped the rest of the crackers back into the bag and transferred it to the coffee table. Alex leans up and traps Nate's lips in his own deeply. He didn't stay long and soon leaned back down to set his attention on the animal crackers. Nate concentrated on catching his breath while Alex contended himself. He grabbed a bear and mimed it walking up Nate's bare chest. It settled on Nate's collar bone, sending slight shivers through him, before Alex returned his hand to get a cat and a seal.

"Meow," Alex chuckled. Nate smiled and ran his hand lazily through Alex's hair.

"You're adorable," Nate smiled. Alex shrugged, as if to say 'I try'. Nate only smiled more. The cat rested on Nate's chest while the seal, for lack of a better word, rolled towards Nate's waist band. Alex tucked the seal gently into Nate's rather tight pocket.

"Ronan likes you," Alex sighed, smiling up at Nate adoringly.

Nate wanted so bad to tease Alex about the name, "Ronan?"

"It means seal."

Nate laughed, "In what?"

"Uh, Irish- No, Gaelic; same thing? I dunno." Nate smiled, if possible, even wider and grabbed Alex's shirt in his fists, pulling the taller boy on top of him & into his lips.

"I," Nate began, shifting his hips so he was comfortable, and making Alex gasp at the friction. "Am so lucky," he pulled Alex's lips back to his in a bruising kiss. "That I've got," Nate grinned against Alex's mouth and rested their foreheads together. He sighed, "Someone like you."
