today we mourn the death of Steve Irwin, aka the Crocodile Hunter.  Pierced in the heart by a stingray barb is certainly a freak accident, but did we expect him to go any other way?  Not really.  No more will we make fun of his Animal Planet specials when nothing else is on to watch.  No more will we see giant spiders and remark with an Aussie
