Has anyone attempted to teach their completely inebriated, 48 year old father how to do simple algebra? No? Didn't think so. Don't. It's like trying to teach a mentally handicapped lemur how to do single digit division. You know that it's easy stuff, but they don't understand, and get agitated and then comes the poo throwing. i know it sounds impossible but my mother was a terrible alcoholic and drug abuser. in doing so it killed half of her brain im sure her liver must look like a black used sponge.

i till this day, though she is clean and sober for over 2 years now... , can not explain a single thing to her, i dont have the patience. its like talking to a baby.

she i gave up on trying to teach her something she would throw a temper tantrum and, im not kidding, stomp her feet and yell till someone told her what to do.

its gotten better since shes no longer drinking or doing drugs and on some sort of happy pill.

i still love her...

Yea, I understand. All I really want is my dad to be okay and happy. But I just hate it. I don't get mad, I get sad. I think, "Why can't I help him? Isn't there something I can say to make him see how bad it hurts?"

I dunno. Sometimes, a girl just gets tired.
