My block is right next to Mount Faber -- and this year's fireworks from the celebrations there beat the ones in Marina Bay's Countdown in terms of spectacularity. (I can see both, from where I stay.)
Viewing fireworks UP CLOSE is fun. Especially when the "BANG!" resonates in your ears xD
