seriously kicked my ass. I'm so sore and tired now, but it was totally worth it. Sleater-Kinney was amazing and I got to the stage early enough to be pretty close. Apparently there was some poor little turtle trying to cross Western, so Hot Pants ran out in traffic and saved it [and got honked at by a lot of people]. He just called and said it's currently riding shotgun in his car while he goes to the house.

I think that's the most adorable thing I've ever heard.
