Okay, so, I had this random dream last night, where Nightwing decided to throw a party with all the Superheroes. Of course, I woke up, and thought 'Wow! that would be a great idea for a fic

"Not now, Clark." Clark ignored him, sitting down beside him on the scaffolding that held the lights.
"I wasn't sure if you'd be here."
"Alfred made me come."
"I see. Well, why are you up here away from everyone else?"
"Why are you up here?"
"I'm up here because you are."
"Well I'm up here because I want to be."
"Then I'll just keep you company." Bruce glared for a moment, then gave a small, resigned sigh. Clark smiled brightly, knowing he had won. "You could take that cowl off, you know. You must be sweating to death." Bruce shrugged. Clark gave another smile, and reached over to tug it off. "There. That's better, isn't it?"
The brunet walked up to the make shift bar. She put a bit of an extra effort in her hip sway, her eyes focused on the redhead. She had heard a lot about him, but hadn’t had a chance to meet him. The way you could work inside the same reduced circles and yet never meet everyone was one of those mysteries of the universe

'Damn Roy, damn Roy, DAMN ROY!' Tim thought angrily to himself. He had started out walking towards Aquaman, only to twist and turn amongst the crowd, and hide in a dark corner.
Looking around the room, he spotted Dick and Wally searching for him. Tim would have to keep a wary eye on them.
"Who do you think it was that kissed him?" The Speedster asked, curiousity growing and growing with each passing second.
"I'm not sure, all the Titans are out here. I have my suspicions, but I don't want to assume anything," Dick explained to his friend. It was then he noticed something, "Hey, where's Roy?"
Doing a quick skim of the place, Wally answered, "Over there with Garth; laughing about something."
Shit, thought Tim. Dick and Wally were heading over to where Roy and Garth were. This could be very very bad. Tim made a quik decison, and jumped down pulling Roy into the shadows and out of sight almost as quick as a Flash. Garth blinked and looked around to see where Roy had disappeared to.
"You," Tim growled.
"Sorry?" Roy tried.
"You are going to keep distracted for me while I make escape. Or you will live to regret it." To Tim's surprise, Roy smiled widely.
"Distracted? Oh I think I can keep him distracted, don't worry about that."
When asked 'where'd Roy go,' all Garth could do was shrug. They had been discussing old times, when he just disappeared on him.
"I'm sure he'll come back," Garth stated, and was thankful his friends didn't walk off. He hardly got any time to spend with them, and was delighted to attend the party.
"So how's the wife," Wally had asked, having gotten a plate of food.
"...She's fine," the violet-eyed man replied, hoping they hadn't noticed the pause.
But who was he kidding? Of course Dick noticed, and was about to ask, until Roy came back to the group. And did something to shock them all...

Once he approached them he said, "Don't tell me he ate all your favorites, Roy."
"Hey! I'm not that mean," Wally protested, but was ignored as usual.
Shaking his head, the other redhead replied, "Nah, we're just talking about who would win in a fight."
"Oh really? Between who?" Dick had asked, curious.
"A wolverine and hyena," the Speedster answered.
Blinking, Dick stated, "Oh, that's a tough one."

"It is good to see you, too." the Amazon said as she pulled away to get a better look at her long time comrade. "How are things with you?"
"Things are doing well," The blond replied. "The other Birds and I are finally finding our balance again. How are you and the rest of the Big Three?"
"Good, we seem as strong as ever." the princess said looking into the room's lofty heights.
Wonder Woman's male counter parts sat there heads bowed closely together in intimate conversation.
"They call us the Trinity, yet sometimes I cannot help but feel like a third wheel." Diana mused softly.
Dinah gripped the other's arm sympathetically. "Three is always a stronger number than to," She said. "Now, let's see if Zatanna has arrived."
Diana smiled brilliantly and said, "Yes, let's."
