- Comment with "JACKPOT"''
- I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can get to know you better.
- Update your journal with the answers to the questions.
- Include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.
1) What is the one scene/episode that hooked you to a fandom (any fandom) and why?
Good question! There are so many, so I'll just pick one at random. West Wing . The first episode, the opening scene where Leo McGarry is wandering from room to room in the White House. The sharpness of the dialog, the sophistication of the characters. And if that scene hadn't done it, it would have been the end...when Jed Barlett burst into the room to slap down the holier-than-thou character of Mary Marsh.
2) What is your favorite city to be a tourist in, but you would never want to live there?
London, England. Beautiful city, lots of things to see, great public transportation..and busier than a beehive at times. Wonderful to visit, but just too complicated for me to want to live there.
3) One scene in Criminal Minds that you really want to see but it will never happen?
The one where someone from the F.B.I. (I'm thinking of Fornell, from N.C.I.S.) calls out Strauss on her questionable leadership skills, not to mention her double-dealing..the whole 'Prentiss, I'll put you on the team, but you have to spy for me.'
4) What is the restaurant/bar/etc. that you go to for comfort food? Why?
Not much of a 'bar' person, but we do go to Bob Evans quite a bit for breakfast. We've been going to the one in our area for the last 15 or so years and never had a bad meal. If you can consider eggs, toast, sausage and home fries 'comfort food'. Bob's the place!
5) The best meal you've ever made.
That's a hard one. I've made a lot of meals over the last 36 years or so. I don't know about the 'best meal' but I've got a never-fail recipe that always gets rave reviews..it involves round steak, noodles, onion, and a little tomato and green pepper. (Anyone wanting the recipe, just let me know!)
Thanks for the questions, I had fun doing this.
