Waiting for the rain....

We're supposed to get rain and thunderstorms tonight. They've been talking about it all day and the Weather Channel is busy showing the areas that have already been hit by the storms. Not the most calm spring we've ever had.

So, of course, tonight is the night that we're getting an entirely new cash-register system at work. As in 'all the old ( Read more... )

I had the biggest crush on PMG, ZOMG, I was in love with him. And Elizabeth Glaser's Pediatric AIDS Foundation is one of my major charities. Its so good that Jake is still here and fighting his mother's fight and his own everyday.

We're getting rain and wild weather here too. Its wild all over the country. I'm just glad its not tornadoes and floods but man, its still crazy.

Hope they get all that wiring and stuff done....and nothing insane falls on your head : )

Small world, eh? He's got his Dad's sexy smile!

It looks like the weather is starting to get here...I can see clouds out to the west through the sliding door to the deck.

I hope they get the wiring done too...I don't have to be at work until late in the afternoon, so if anything is going to fall, I hope it's fallen by the time I get there!

Wow. I didn't know that about Paul Michael Glaser's family. What's interesting is that right about that same time that Elizabeth Glaser contracted AIDS from a blood transfusion, a woman at my church also contracted AIDS from a blood transfusion. The same week that she was diagnosed with AIDS, she found out she was pregnant. I'm amazed to see that Jake Glaser is 26, because that means Brant is probably about 26 too. I used to babysit him, a few years after Amy died. Seems incredible that he's all grown up, but I know he's a lawyer now.

Yes, it was such a shock when we found out. And we only did because Paul and Elizabeth went public just before The National Enquirer broke the story. It was so sad, but so much good came out of that pain.
