Tonight was going to be a good night at work. Because the kids have gone back to school, we will now be closing at 10:00 pm Sunday thru Thursday and 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. OMG, that sounds awful. I say you take the day if you can and just rest. Cuz anyone would need a rest after a fall like that and then working right after. It always hurts worse in the morning. So yeah, I say take the day and that combined with the other days you have off should be good for you.

I am sooooooo glad you didnt break anything or really injure yourself, that sounds so scary.

And even better, I had taken my glasses off because they were fogged after I'd been in the freezer (I can see fine short distances without them) and for a minute I was afraid they'd fallen off and been damaged...until ( ... )
