It's been a rough winter and spring, so I've been making this cake a lot..it's sweet, sour and salty all at the same time. The name of it, however, is a bit off-putting.. Dump Cake ..but that's because you just 'dump' all the ingredients in the pan and put it in the oven.

My sister in law doesn't use the pineapple, just the pie filling, and calls it cobbler. Sounds deelish!

I'm a butter fan. When it goes one sale I buy a bunch. I think I have ten pounds of butter in the freezer:)

It is deelish! I love the crunchy, salty, sweet combination (and figure it's not too bad for me because the fattiest thing I put on it is the butter, but I'm not getting that much in each serving.) I love my Duncan Hines Cookbook!
