My mother has actually forced me to listen to some current music at least once a week. Is that pretty ridiculous or is it me? She doesn't want me to be really out of it and dated. New music. *yawn* .......I watch American Idol, isn't that enough?! Jesus!
I actually flipped out to see the "Flower Child" Time Life CD infomercial. YAY '60s!!! xD

Yea, she wants me to be "with it" ya know? I don't care that everyone my age seems to think I'm crazy for listening to older music. Which IMO is REAL music, like the real good shit!

AMEN, SISTAH. She really shouldn't force you to listen to it anyways; my friends always ask me if I know this one song, and before I can even answer, the say "Oh wait, you don't listen to good music." skdhdksn, I am so up-to-date on today's crap, it's unreal. Pop culture is naturally attracted to me, but I shrug it off.
Maybe you should tell your mom about some weird happened with Lady Gaga or Keisha or Rhianna or something until she's convinced pop culture has bitten you. Then you can go do what you like. ;D

Hah! She thinks Lady Gaga is such a nice person too, lovely girl. I'm just not understand the spell Lady Gaga has on the world. OPRAH, THE QUEEN, MY MOTHER?! WHATT?! The odd thing is.. well she likes the music she listens too. I just think she doesn't want me to turn into a freak.. idk why. xD
