Ok. So I asked S/O for a divorce 2 weeks ago. Now he has been trying like hell to keep me and "change". I don't want to be with him anymore and now all of a sudden he is doing whatever he can to keep me down and not let me do what I want. STILL

It's taken me a couple of days to word a proper reply to this post. I know that we've been chatting over the last couple of days as well but I feel that there should be something posted in reply to this news. I am glad that you are taking the steps to be happy in your life. I'm glad that you found the strength to make that tough decision which will lead to a temporary period of hardship and strife. You will be a better person in the end because you've had to endure all of this. If I can offer one piece of advice it would be to stay the course and remember that you are not alone. There are those who care about you and are there for you to help you through this difficult time. YOU DESERVE TO BE HAPPY! YOU DESERVE TO FULFILL YOUR DREAMS AND GOALS! No matter what those dreams and goals are, you are starting on the path to achieve them. Congratulations!
