I use to work for DirecTV, and during my first week on the floor I did mostly activations...and we had to tell the customers to turn to CNN after I flipped the switch...and I swear everyone wanted to stay on the phone and chat.

What do you do now?

i just moved into college that week and we didn't have cable yet so this cable guy was walking around giving it out for free cause he felt bad and wanted us to be able to see what was going on. when you said directv it reminded me of him.
