I'm not sure if I'm happy about it, but OSF is doing "Disney's Beauty and the Beast" next year. I have some hope that they'll do something more than the typical vapid stuff, but how much can they do without Disney objecting?

How was your visit with Chip?

Side note: 'Newsies' is coming to our theatre toward the end of June, just before they make their leap back into Canada. Chip is supposed to stay with us during the one-week run. Irony? I retire from UNM on June 1 and we're putting the house on the market about then or maybe a bit earlier.

Our visit with Chip--and John--was excellent. We went out with them to The Original (not to be confused with The Original Pancake House) and a very great time was had by all.

what can we sell to the backers concept.

conservative and old but proven and as such out of date, out of relevance and decades past its day. I don't know a whole lot of people who bother with printed newspapers anymore. just a lot of people with their nose nearly touching their iphone on the train to work in the morning.

maybe they should try and have a creative idea first and then try and sell it to the backers.
