I just found out that I have been wait-listed for fall enrollment at Georgetown for their master's program in art history and museum studies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

holy crap, that is so much better than the rejection letter I was expecting ;)

Now just another month of waiting to hear a final answer…

:D I know, what the heck? Georgetown likes me! heheh, I'm still preparing myself to ultimately not be accepted but for now I am cloud 9! With all the job and grad school applications I've been doing lately, it's nice to get even one response like this.

haha. It's not at all the outcome I expected, but it certainly is a nice one. I mean, it could still very well turn out that I still get rejected but at least I can say that once upon a time I had a small chance of attending Georgetown, eh?

I know, I can't believe it myself!!

Did you get that invite to my little birthday party? My boyfriend, John, was the one who sent it. I can send it again if it got lost or whatever. It's just a little gathering at my apartment in Alexandria and although it is a rather hodge-podge group of people I know in the area, I'd love to have you there :)
