Poor Tony, it makes you wonder who turned him in. I am betting Gibbs is thinking that too. That man really needs to talk more, ah what am I saying, LOL!
Thank you! And if Gibbs crawls out of the self induced pity party he has going he'll hopefully adds the clues and comes up with a possible scenario that will help him care for Tony. At the moment he is falling down on that job.
well I hope Tony does kick Gibbs's ass - I don't care if he is a former Gunny with a dead wife and child and three other failed marriages - Tony is stuck with him according to the rules of his 'slavery' and Gibbs needs to get his head out of his own ass
better yet - Tony should just move into the guest bedroom and let Gibbs get the hint - maybe a 2 by 4 upside the head would help him
grrrrr....
sorry but this pushed my buttons - I know life isn't all rosy and cheery but I'm not liking Gibbs too much in this chapter
did you get the coding I gave you for doing the pics in html for the LJ?
I'm not liking him too much in this either, to be frank. When I wrote this fic I sometimes stopped to watch a few episodes and what made me fume was that Gibbs reaction whenever his past comes up or kids are involved is to disregard the safety and feelings of those nearest to him. I love Requiem, but what he's doing in that episode makes me growl and spit. Then the Alec case developed on my virtual paper and the further I went, the more it was: this would be a prime example for another Gibbs goes bastard episode. A kid in danger, he having to find him before the murderer does but saving him means handing him over to a fate not much better, a father appealing to him, ... not a good mixture.
I hope you'll like how I solved it. I can tell you that it was a compromise between what I think is realistic and what I want to see on screen whenever the 'second B' aquires a twin and heavy shadows to boot.

I can't wait for the story to be finished (won't start reading it before then). ;)

I'm a fan of happy endings so there's nothing to worry about. I'm looking forward to hear how you like my resolutions.
