On Grilling

Every time I go to the grocery store, which is more often than I should, I am struck by how grill-focused everything has gotten. It is summer, and bags of charcoal briquettes compete with displays of barbeque sauce for end-cap space. Every lifestyle magazine at the checkout racks promises "GREAT GRILLING RECIPES" and "THE BEST BURGERS EVER".

I should let you know, though, that Mexicans love to grill just as much as Americans. Only they like to do it whilst piping in Mariachi music, which is, as we all know, the world's crappiest music.

Huh. Just discovered that Firefox's spell check function considers "crappiest" to be a real word.
