Um, not to toot the horns of our community at large, but how exactly could her life be more fabulous than yours? I can't imagine any item or attribute she could own that could trump your awesomeness. Sounds to me like she was/is envious of you (needing to do everything you were/are doing) and resentful of you (needing to one-up you). Evil she may be, or just tradge, but I think ignoring her would be the most effective retaliation.

Coming in late here, but Facebook exemplifies all that is wrong about the interbunnies to me. It's like at a really fucked-up high school dance, and I thought I left that shit behind 20 years ago. No need to go looking for it now.

As for having old memories come up on you just as strongly as they did when they happened, yeah. Memory sucks that way, sometimes. Don't give it power.
