life was made for this
this past weekend has made me realize how much much happier i am now than i was just a few months ago. i feel like brenda getting drunk for the first time at keiko's, throwing my arms open and shouting, "i love everyone!" ever since the move and michele's shower life has calmed down a lot. this past month i feel like i've seen so many friends, old and new. i have been spending more time with coworkers, especially the lovely lindsay. i got to see michele, who i hadn't seen since my birthday(!), and party with heather, krista, dorothea, and mica; had dinner with kathryn; won $20 at poker night; saw my grandma, my parents, and my sister and my cousin's art show (so many birds, one stone) and still had time to catch a movie and late night meal with fallingaction and freshneweyes; made breakfast with ed (who i hadn't seen in years), then saw eddie money shake it; had a delicious dinner at korman's (she really is much better at cooking now); spent hours wandering san lorenzo nursery with matt;

and then there was yesterday. yesterday i spent the morning with magic at petroglyph. it was so fun and relaxing and messy. lovely to do art and talk to a good friend. then i had lunch with david (who i randomly got in contact with again) at the new vietnamese sandwich place. then he and i and magic went to a rock music camp concert for free, and then we saw the family stone experience (no sly) on the beach for free and then we came home and had too much fun with matt and a frozen watermelon. at one point i stared across the watermelon at magic and said, "i like you so much right now, not that i don't like you other times," and then my eyes started welling up bc it finally hit me that she's leaving. sadness. butt enough about that, here's the watermelon!

then we watched club dread (a must see) and finally passed out around 4am.
then today i dragged my ass outta bed to go to work and have david lee roth smile at me while i just stared. then kevin came and we had dinner and gorged ourselves with candy and ice cream at marini's. went to the boardwalk and realized we're much older and more frightened by rides than we used to be (for shame). played some ski ball, air hockey, and racing games (all of which i won) and got some amusing prizes.
i'm not kidding when i say that harmonica is great
plus some bugs and ppg earrings for magic, matt and jenb.
now if only i had more happyfrogg and mrs_ajax my life might just be complete.
