this weekend i: -went for a hike through a tree farm -played with a dog -shelled 5lbs of hazel nuts -ate homemade apple pie -ate homemade sourdough waffles with homemade pomegranate syrup -saw a baby elephant
That sounds like a hella delicious weekend. on a vaguely related note, I was in Chicago this weekend, and in the hot tub met a pregnant woman and her husband (note: she was just dangling her feet in the water, not cooking the fetus) who had just moved from Seattle to Chicago. She seemed sad, but trying to put on a brave face. I felt sorry for her, given that it was like 8 degrees outside the previous day, but it reinforced my impression that Seattle is a pretty cool place.
also, one of the pictures emily put on our cds is hella scary. we finally figured out what was going on, but it looks like you're talking to an alien. you could have sent that in to the weekly world news!
Nope, an indoor hot tub in our hotel. Although the hot tub would have felt pretty great outside! Hmm, now I am going to have to go through the photos to figure out the one you mean. . .
