I went and got the Fried Ice Cream Blast and its ok. It's not what I expected or wanted but its ok. I miss the REAL fried ice cream from Chi Chi's. *pauses for a moment of silence*

I probably won't get it again.

Don Pablo's has pretty good fried ice cream.

But I miss our weekly trips to Chi Chi's.

I have no idea where there is a Don Pablo's at around here. We are lucky we have a Sonic in Uniontown! We are getting an IHOP soon too! But no Chili's :(

You need to visit we have just about everything except the Chi Chi's. I miss them as well but we have so many authentic Mexican restaurants that have great fried ice cream. I miss home in general and wish I could afford to come home for a few days.

I know I'm a few months behind on this, but I just found it and I have to say

THANK YOU!!!!!

I remember Chi Chi's... and nobody else seems to. There was one down the street from where I grew up, and Mom and I used to go there all the time. It was always such a treat to get the fried ice cream.

I haven't had that stuff in probably 18 years, and I miss it terribly. I agree that the Sonic stuff isn't nearly as good, and it makes me miss the real stuff more.

Nothing will ever taste as good. *sniff*
